Who We Are
At Friendship Baptist Church, we are a local church made up
of imperfect people who are committed to pursuing a personal relationship with God.
We come from all walks of life: from farmers, to factory workers, to business
owners, to retired people — what has brought us all together is our personal
relationship with Jesus Christ. In our relationship with God, here are two guiding
principles that Jesus declared to be the responsibility of all who follow Him.
Why We Are Here
With the conviction that we have been placed here by God to
love and serve our community, we offer the following opportunities for spiritual
growth and service:
Worship
Worship is the way in which we express our faith in the Lord.
Through the singing of hymns and songs and the study of God's Word,
we offer praise to our Lord. we meet each Sunday and Wednesday for
corporate worship.
Discipleship
We emphasize discipleship from Sunday School classes for each member
of the family, discipleship classes for children on Sunday evening
as well as opportunities for biblical learning on Wednesday nights.
WMA
Women's Missionary Auxiliady: A mission-minded group of Friendship
Ladies meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Church at 6:00
p.m. for Bible Study and Fellowship. All ladies are encouraged to
join in each month.
Clothes Closet Ministry
On the 3rd Saturday of every month, we are "Open for Business" as we
provide gently used clothing to our neighbors absolutely free of
charge! with the motto, "If I won't wear it, I won't share it". Find
great clothing for every member of the family.
